Try this easy canned clam recipe for healthy flatbread clam pizza. Price wise, canned clams are one of the best buys for canned seafood. We use a thin tortilla wrap to make a super light clam pizza that packs tons of flavor without a lot of heavy bread.
How to Make Flatbread White Clam Pizza
This canned clam recipe will work with almost any kind of premade flatbread. For instance, we prefer a thin wrap because it crisps up nicely around the edges and doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the pizza toppings.
You can really adjust the toppings and measurements for this pizza recipe. In the video, we use two cans of clams, one minced and one chopped, for an overwhelmingly clammy pizza experience, but we’ve also made this recipe using just one can of clams for two tortilla wrap pizzas and found it more than satisfying, so definitely adjust the recipe to taste.
And we love garlic, so two heaping Tbsp of minced garlic is perfect for us on a single pizza wrap. However, use less garlic if you’re scared.

How to Cook Flatbread Clam Pizza on a Tortilla Wrap
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic.
- Brush half of the garlic-oil over the tortilla wrap, making sure to extend all the way to the tortilla edges.
- Evenly distribute clams over the crust.
- Add additional ingredients as desired. Remember to take your toppings all the way to the tortilla edges to avoid burnt edges with no flavor.
- Drizzle the pizza top with the remaining garlic-oil.
- Top with the dried oregano, and freshly grated Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese.
- Place pizza on a lightly sprayed pan and slide into the preheated oven.
- Bake until the crust edges are lightly browned and the cheese is melted, about 8-10 minutes.
- Loosen the tortilla from the pan with a spatula and serve the pizza hot, warm, or cold; it’s garlicky and delicious anytime.
- For added heat, sprinkle with dried red pepper flakes.
- This flatbread pizza looks nice with fresh greens, and just a little spinach adds color and nutrition. But if you don’t love spinach, just a sprinkling of fresh parsley before serving will do the trick.
